down at the studio I paint at a couple days a week.

A departure from my "Ocean Series"!
I have done quite a few paintings with the couple and umbrella. I like to imagine this couple on their way to different events. Are they in a hurry or just strolling the streets? Where are they? Are they comfortable with eachother or are they guarded - the new date - you get the picture.
Anyway, most of these paintings have been smaller 8"x 8".
