Yellow Jug

8" x 8"
Oil on Raymar Panal
$95
This was an enjoyable painting from start to finish.  There weren't any struggles - just pure pleasure in the production.  I really want to do more palette knife florals!

I have sat at the computer for way too long trying to think of a suitable title for this.  Orange Umbrella is an easy one but I am open to ideas if anyone out there is feeling creative.  I just returned from an exhausting weekend away.  It was very fun - my good friend was the mother of the bride and I was there as a guest, but also to be of help.  My title was "Mother's Matron!"  We had so much FUN that it is taking me days to get myself back together here.
Back to art:  This is an 8 x 8 on board - oil with an orange undercoat showing through.

Back Bay Waters

This 8 x 8 oil on Board was painted from a photo I took while on one of my many Back Bay (Newport Beach, Ca.) walks.  Walk?  Hike?  What do you call it when you have a friend who, even though she has shorter legs than I do, is always a 1/2 stride ahead of me.  I go as FAST as I possibly can and she's always ahead........ Sorry - tangent.  The Back Bay is a beautiful place to paint also.  The colors are always changing depending on the time of day, time of year.  The mustard is just now blooming so I am going to have to remember my camera tomorrow.......
