"Ocean Series 1" Abstract Palette Knife Seascape by California Contemporary Painter Janet Bludau

I am painting this series with the Balboa Island Artwalk in Newport Beach, Ca. in mind. 
 The day is fast approaching:  Sunday May 20th from 9am - 5pm.
The sky part of the painting has the turquoise undercoat showing through.  I used a painting technique similar to "scumbling".
