Most anyone who has vacationed in Newport Beach California on the Balboa Penninsula knows of the Crab Cooker Restaurant. It has been serving wonderful meals on paper plates and wine in plastic cups to locals and visitors since 1951. On your way out the door you help yourself to a salt water taffy in a huge jar but you sort of have to go FISHING for a piece with the tricky tongs. The waitresses call everyone honey and slide your plate across the formica table at you - its great!
